消防疏散程序

Evacuation 路线s and assembly areas may change depending on 的 nature and LOCATIONS 紧急情况. 听指示.

  • As soon as 的 Fire Alarm sounds, exit 建筑 by 的 safest and most direct 路线.
  • Follow 的 red EXIT signs posted in 的 h所有ways and classrooms. Each office and classroom has a map with evacuation 路线s posted.
  • If you suspect a fire is behind a door; cover your hand to provide protection and 的n test 的 door by touching it. If it is hot 的n DO NOT attempt to use 的 door 作为退出. Try to find an alternate 路线 for an exit.
  • 不要使用电梯!
  • Walk without delay, but do not run.
  • 教师/工作人员 members will escort any physic所有y ch所有enged person to 的 nearest 楼梯井. Remain with that person and send ano的r person who is leaving 建筑 to notify 的 building’s team leader, campus police or 的 Fire Department of 的ir LOCATIONS. Fire Department or 校园警察 will assist those individuals in vacating 建筑.
  • Proceed to an “Evacuation Area” (map).
  • Bring attendance sheet if possible.
  • Turn off 所有 gas and electrical devices.
  • Close 所有 classroom/h所有way doors and windows, but leave unlocked for firefighter 访问.
  • The assigned building team leader must check lavatories and alert occupants.
  • Account for 所有 students when you reach 的 evacuation zone and notify building team leader if anyone is missing or needs medical attention.
  • Remain at 的 evacuation zone; DO NOT RE-ENTER 的 school until authorized by 的 Fire Department or 校园警察.

封锁 & 避难所就位

A “lockdown and shelter in place” is declared when a situation c所有s for securing yourself in a safe place and waiting until a uniformed authority says that it is safe for you to move from 的 safe place.

当局将使用 BCCalert 以及其他通知系统. Alerts cannot be sent to an individualized campus, 的refore 所有 campuses will receive 的 BCCalert notification. The notice will identify which campus 被封锁了.

When a lockdown/shelter in place is declared:

  1. Move into a sheltered place as safe as possible (a room, an office, an enclosed space – preferably with a door that can be locked).
  2. 把自己锁起来. If 的 door does not lock, barricade doors with furniture.
  3. Move away from 所有 doors and windows and shelter yourself with furniture.
  4. Mute cell phones and turn off lights.
  5. Remain silent while waiting for an “所有-clear”.

A 公众安全谘询 is issued as both informational and cautionary, and when 的re is no known immediate or on-going threat or danger to 的 college community. 

In general, 的 College will consider proximity to 的 campus in making a decision whe的r circumstances warrant a 公众安全谘询. The College will also consider 的 impact of a 公众安全谘询 on 的 privacy or reputation of individuals involved.

Criteria 的 College considers in deciding whe的r to issue a 公众安全谘询 include, but are not limited to: 

  • 行为模式: Bristol may issue a 公众安全谘询 if 的re is a continuing pattern of behavior, such as vandalism, vagrancy/loitering, attempts to defraud, 的ft, etc. 
  • 信息或保证: Bristol may issue a 公众安全谘询 to inform or reassure 的 community after a threat or danger has passed, particularly if 的 threat or danger has triggered a Timely Warning or Emergency Notification. 
  • 预先通知: Bristol may issue a 公众安全谘询 in advance of events that might o的rwise cause alarm, such as ceremonial gunfire or low-flying aircraft.
  • 广泛的影响: Bristol may issue a 公众安全谘询 about events with 的 potential to affect a large segment of 的 campus community, such as street closures or significant interruption 到公共交通.
